PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
FIBER OPTIC CABLE STANDARDS
1. General Introduction
- The ADSS fiber optic cable from RECOIN uses single-mode fibers, placed in loose tubes with moisture-resistant gel, non-metallic strength members, and two-layer sheathing. It includes types with capacities ranging from 2 to 144 fibers and spans from 100m to 500m.
- RECOIN's cables fully comply with international standards such as IEC, EIA, ASTM, national standards like TCVN, sector standards like TCN, or customer standards.
- Product code: ADSS 2C – 144C, 100m – 700m SPAN

3. Detailed Cable Components
The optical fiber used is single-mode G.652D with graded index. The fiber is color-coded according to TIA/EIA – 598 – A standards. The primary coating and color ink used on the fiber are UV-resistant, reducing environmental impact and ensuring longevity.

To create a uniform round cable core when the number of loose tubes is insufficient, filler tubes (Filler Rod) made from natural color Polyethylene (PE) are used. These do not contain fibers or any metallic components and are non-conductive.
The gaps between the fiber and the inner surface of the loose tube are filled with a special Thixotropic Jelly Compound, which prevents water and moisture ingress, ensuring stable transmission quality. This compound is non-toxic, colorless, odorless, mold-resistant, and non-conductive.
The cable core is protected against water and moisture using a dry core (quick absorbent – S.A.P), ensuring the cable core remains dry in all environments.
The loose tubes and other components like filler tubes are SZ-stranded around the central strength member. The cable core is bound with polyester yarns to ensure stability during manufacturing, installation, and use.
The cable uses multiple high-tensile Aramid yarns as the main tensile strength members, arranged around the first sheath layer.
The cable has two sheaths made from HDPE containing black carbon, resistant to UV radiation, antioxidants, and free from metallic components.
